Destination Weddings
Destination weddings are a unique way to celebrate your commitment to each other. And what better place to get married than the stunning island of Barbados?
As your wedding planners, CLICK: Wed Barbados! will be happy to organize all of the following - and more - for you.
- Exhaustively search and assist client in choice of wedding location(s)
- Reserve ceremony and reception site(s) on chosen wedding date
- Welcome and greeting at the airport
- Airport transfers
- Hotel and/or other accommodation for you and your guests
- Series of activities on island for you and your guests leading up to the wedding
- Welcome baskets for your guests
- Accompaniment to the Ministry when applying for your marriage licence
- Ensure contracts between chosen vendors and client give client all that is desired
- Ensure all relevant documentation is provided to client by vendors
- Selecting an appropriate officiant
- Securing and managing all vendors ahead of and on the wedding day
- Leading the wedding rehearsal
- Coordinate the rehearsal dinner, if applicable
- Schedule trial run and design consultation with hair stylist and make-up artist and book (pre-) wedding day appointments for bride, groom and attendants
- Meet with officiant to plan order of ceremony
- Assist client in choice of wedding music (e.g. processional, recessional, first dance, father-daughter/mother-son dance, cutting of the cake, tossing the bouquet/garter etc.)
- Arranging all wedding day transportation
- Co-ordinating all activites on the day
- Ensure all vendors are paid
- Ensure cake is divided as requested by the bride and groom
- Oversee tear down by various vendors
- Make sure that any gifts brought to the reception are handed to the individual(s) or delivered to the location designated by client
- Create a honeymoon itinerary for the couple
To get started, simply send us an email providing as many details as possible about what you envision for your destination wedding in Barbados, including your wedding date, budget and contact information. We will then provide you with an estimate and our planning fees. Once you approve, we will send you a formal Service Agreement with all you can expect from us and we can get started planning your dream island wedding.
In addition to the above, we offer two (2) additional complimentary services to our clients: (1) scheduling a week of activities for clients whose weddings will have a minimum of 25 guests so that everyone can relax, interact and thoroughly enjoy their stay in Barbados; and (2) putting together a romantic honeymoon itinerary based on each couple's unique likes and dislikes for clients who wish to remain in Barbados after tying the knot.
